Valletta may well be the smallest capital of all EU Member

States, but it will be the capital of Europe for the coming months

when the Republic of Malta takes over the EU Presidency from

Slovakia. Smaller EU Member States are known for running efficient

EU presidencies and Malta will – in our eyes – not be an exception

to this ‘rule’.
