The Dairy Sector and the EU Green Deal
The new European Commission presented the ‘European Green Deal’, the EU flagship initiative with the objective to transform Europe and shape the future of our continent and our industry.
The commitment to a “Farm to Fork” strategy is meant to transform the whole food system: a ‘zero pollution ambition’ aimed at protecting human and environmental health, a new circular economy action plan, a biodiversity strategy for 2030 and a climate law to enshrine the goal of climate-neutrality by 2050 into legislation.
